Gregory S. Madar has been the Senior Vice President, Principal Financial and Accounting Officer and Assistant Secretary of the Company since April 2003. He also served as the Treasurer of the Company from 2001 to 2003, as Secretary of the Company from March 1997 to March 1999 and as Assistant Secretary of the Company since 1999. He is also Senior Vice President and Controller of Webster Bank. Mr. Madar, a Certified Public Accountant, joined Webster Bank in 1995 as Vice President and Tax Manager and was elected Senior Vice President and Assistant Controller in January 2000. In February 2002, he was promoted to Senior Vice President and Controller.
