John C. Brewer had been the President and a director of the Company since January, 1981, and from 1972 until January, 1981 was President and a director of the Company's predecessor Garb-Oil Corporation. Mr. Brewer also serves as president, chairman of the board of directors and a director of Garbalizer Corporation of America which is a major shareholder of the Company. Mr. Brewer devotes approximately 40 hours per week to the Company as well as additional time to his other business interests. On June 15, 2005 the board of directors appointed Lou Zant president and CEO, retaining Mr. Brewer as its Chief Financial Officer. Subsequently, Mr. Zant resigned as President and CEO and Mr. Brewer was again appointed President and CEO. On January 13, 2006, the Board of Directors appointed Matthew G. Shepard President and director, retaining Mr. Brewer as its CEO.
