Schlesinger, 53, has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Company since 1996 and became Group President of Beauty and Personal Care in January 2005 and Vice Chairman and Chief Operating Officer of the Company in February 2003. Dr. Schlesinger was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer from March 2001 until February 2003 and Executive Vice President, Organization, Leadership and Human Resources from October 1999 until March 2001.
