Will Unisys Corp. (NYSE:UIS) Catch Palladium Pro?

7UIS_logo.jpgAn information technology company operating worldwide, Unisys Coporation (NYSE:UIS, UIS message board) has surprised many investors by its released earnings results. Just after the announcement, the stock gained trading volume of almost 5 million, while the price jumped up by almost 20%, from $29.34 to 34.96.

UIS_stock_chart.jpgWhat did investors find out about the financial situation of the company? Unisys announced better earnings per share than expected: from $2.29 it increased up to $2.64. In addition, for the full year of 2010, the company reported net income of $236.1 million compared to $189.3 million in 2009. Meanwhile, full year income increased by 2% (from 218.2 million dollars to 222.9 million dollars).

Although many investors didn't expect the financials of the company to be so positive, it seems that UIS is able to go higher and higher, especially when there is still enough place for the company to develop.

At the same time, while Unisys Corp. was taking care of counting their finances, cyber criminals were trying to make troubles to computer users by creating new rogueware applications, such as Palladium Pro, which has been on the web since the end of 2010 (if you have troubles dealing with this rogueware, you should follow the removal instructions of Palladium Pro).

Can it happen that this kind of web threats are useful and dangerous at the same time? They threaten computer users and improve the image of companies, which suggest products that are able to clean the infected system.
