PharmaCyte Biotech, Inc. (OTCMKTS:PMCB)'s Recovery Didn't Last

by Dragni Dragnev May 8, 2015

PharmaCyte Biotech, Inc. (OTCMKTS:PMCB, PMCB message board) had a nice little bounce on Wednesday, but yesterday's trading session nearly wiped all of its gains, in spite of the investors' relative inactivity.

This state of developments is not exactly unexpected for investors that have kept a close eye on PMCB in these last few months.

The company claims to be making progress, and with regard to its scientific research it may well be – and that is certainly working to its advantage. The Cell-in-a-Box is an interesting technology that has online analysts ecstatic over its potential for helping insulin-dependent diabetes patients live without daily insulin injections.

Unfortunately, the company represents more than just boundless opportunity. Due diligence on it reveals that it is a risky investment, as it is far from financially sound:

  • Cash - 958 thousand
  • Total liabilities - $378 thousand
  • Quarterly net loss - $1.45 million

Those numbers are bad enough, but it is probably the constant barrage of paid pumps that has eroded investor confidence in PMCB over the last few months the most. Unfortunately for opportunistic traders, prolonged paid pumps have a tendency to lose their potency.

After more than 100 tŠ¾uts in 2015 alone, this seems to be what has happened to PMCB. Now it seems that even Microcap Daily's ridiculously optimistic commentary seems in capable of changing that state of developments.

Quotes Duh? You better check those stats again. The stock is up better than 50% in recent time. If your talking two days price movements you may have written about an expired relevance to a day trader. Now, do your research and find out why knowledgeable current investors are bullish on this stock for the future. Pumps??? Maybe by touts who earn a living touting stocks then bilk punters for profits. The company is targeted by day traders, right now along with many other stocks in the Cannabis sector. The stock is fairly predictable now, but being on the short end can burn badly here if mistimed. Things look very interesting for this small fry. All big fish started as fry at one time. The science will either make or break Pharmacyte Biotech. Right now that science looks encouraging. It has a road to travel yet for sure.

Quotes Here's an idea for your next article:

The stock went up, and then it went down, and then it went up, and then it went down. I have no idea why. I really know nothing about stocks. I have no recommendations and I have no ideas. All I can do is report about what happened in the past. Please excuse my stupidity. I will look for a different job.

Quotes If "investor confidence is eroded" why is the stock up 50% from it's low - and is holding?
"Given back all of it's gains?"
Again - It's up 50% from it's low - and is holding.
Of course you were referring to a one day movement and the next day a retracement. On a OTC stock. And that is some form of news?
You have written absolutely nothing here that is worthwhile to anyone. The lack of ability for you or anyone else at hot stocked to write anything worthwhile is actually stunning.

Please - Could you try just once to come up with something that might help even just one person in the future? I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say this - Making note of a couple of minor movements over a couple of days is completely worthless. So please don't write about them and act like you know anything about the stock.
